Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi ZU 7155 Refrigerator up and running in no time.

1. Check the appliance for transport damage

Before starting the setup, ensure that the Zanussi ZU 7155 Refrigerator has not been damaged during transport. If you notice any damage, contact your retailer immediately.

2. Remove securing tapes

Remove all securing tapes from the inside and outside of the appliance.

3. Internal cleaning

Wash the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use soap or detergent as the smell may linger. Dry thoroughly.

4. Positioning

For optimal performance, place the refrigerator away from heat sources such as cookers, radiators, or direct sunlight. Ensure it is positioned close to a wall but with the required distance for ventilation.

5. Electrical connection

Ensure the appliance is connected to a power supply with a voltage and frequency of 220-240 V / 50 Hz. Do not alter the specifications or modify the product in any way.

6. Allow refrigerant to settle

Leave the appliance for 2 hours after installation before turning it on. This allows the refrigerant to settle properly.

7. Setting the temperature

The temperature inside the refrigerator is regulated by a thermostat with 6 positions and one 'OFF' position. Position 1 is minimum coldness and position 6 is maximum coldness. Turn the thermostat dial to the desired position, considering factors such as room temperature and frequency of door opening.

8. Fresh food refrigeration

For best performance, do not store warm food or evaporating liquids in the refrigerator. Cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flavor. The optimal ambient temperature for operation is between +10°C and +32°C.

9. Check the door shelves and storage

Adjust the bottle and short shelves in the door if necessary to accommodate your storage needs.
